Hi, there.

My name is Xiaoqi. I’m an energetic learner, doer, collaborator and designer. With two years of study and industry experience in UX research and design, I'm dedicated to finding simple solutions to painful interactions for users. During my design process, I always ensure every design detail is thoroughly thought out and backed up by good reasons - it has to be user-centric! I feel fulfilled seeing the positive changes that my design brought to the users’ online experiences. That is something I an obsessed with this field.

I'm always down to collaborate. Reach out and let's chat!

MY JOURNEY TO UX DESIGN

My interest in UX Design was sparked during my trip to Panama.

I am an avid world traveler, and from the City of Lights to the mountaintops of rural China, every place I’ve visited gave me a new perspective with which to engage with the world. In Panama, I saw an opportunity for social change through UX Design. While many Panamanians were using smartphones to take advantage of new economic opportunities, I noticed some people, especially the elders had a much harder time grasping technology. A man struggled for several minutes just to find a picture of his daughter on his phone.

But they don’t have to be, I thought. Countless UX Design innovations have proved effective time and again in improving the user satisfaction of digital devices. It is a unique way to timely define and solve paint points for global users. Therefore, I would like to contribute to ease the navigation of digital products for users in all age groups, through the power of UX Design.

I was so honored to volunteer at the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016. I’ve made some of my best friends there! 👭💛

I have an extremely low haha point. I feel like I almost spend half the time in my life just laughing. 😆🤣
